The Himalayan Outback has teamed up with Great Careers to offer companies an opportunity to provide their employees with 2-3 day programs that combine a beautiful outdoor location with various activities that include rafting, rappelling, kayaking and hiking along with an option of 4-8 hour sessions (a maximum of 2-3 hours a day) to help develop the interpersonal communication skills of the group.

The Interpersonal Communication Skills workshops are held in the pristine surroundings of our base camp along the Alaknanda River about 90 kms north of Rishikesh. At the end of the 2-3 day Corporate Getaway you can be assured that your employees come back relaxed, refreshed and better informed which invariably leads to higher productivity - a win-win situation for both employers and employees!

One of Great Career's most popular off-site training program is the Interpersonal Communication Skills Training Program.

Great Careers' Interpersonal Communication Skills Training Program comprises 13 modules in all.

Each module takes on an average about 6 hours to complete. A shorter, edited version of each module takes 4 hours to complete. A premium version of each module takes 8 hours to complete. Each module is usually broken up into two-hour sessions spread over one to four consecutive or alternate days.

The 4-hour version of each module comprises an abridged version of the regular courseware and a short paper and pencil self-assessment instrument that allows learners to analyse their current communication behaviour and its consequences.

The 6-hour version of each module comprises the unabridged version of the courseware and a short paper and pencil self-assessment instrument that allows learners to analyse their current communication behaviour and its consequences.

The 8-hour version of a module comprises, in addition to the contents of the 6-hour version, an English feature film that illustrates and consolidates communication concepts being learnt in a module.

All writing, note-taking, and other learning materials for each module will be provided by Great Careers. A white board, adequate seating arrangements, projector (for the 8-hour version only), and refreshments will be provided by the client.

Each module is a standalone module. Some modules can be grouped together. The most usual groupings are called blocks and these are mentioned below. Depending on your organisation's requirements, you can opt for any number of modules or blocks for your staff members in any combination. There must be at least 5 participants in a module.

Costs:

The costs given below are per person and are in addition to The Himalayan Outback's Base Camp rates - this is an option which any company can add on for their employees in order to combine a great getaway and a programme that will help increase the productivity of their employees.

For a team of 5 to 9 participants the costs of each module are: Rs 1,000.00 per participant for the 4-hour version, Rs 1,250.00 per participant for the 6-hour version, and Rs 1,750.00 per participant for the premium version.

For a team of 10 to 19 participants the costs of each module are: Rs 750.00 per participant for the 4-hour version, Rs 1,000.00 per participant for the 6-hour version, and Rs 1,500.00 per participant for the premium version.

For a team of 20 or more participants the costs of each module are: Rs 500.00 per participant for the 4-hour version, Rs 750.00 per participant for the 6-hour version, and Rs 1,250.00 per participant for the premium version.

The name, designation, age, and mobile number of the trainees must be submitted in advance along with the total payment by cheque or draft in the name of "Great Careers", payable at Chandigarh.
