Arrive in New Delhi International Airport; where a representative of The Himalayan Outback will meet you and transfer you to the hotel where you can relax and prepare for the expedition.

| Day 02 |

After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, the anglers are taken for a tour of the historical city of New Delhi. Visit some of the significant historical monuments of New Delhi like the Red fort and the Qutab Minnar, and enjoy some fine Indian cuisine. Visit the India Gate, Qutab Minar, and Parliament House and walk through Connaught Place - the heart of the city and a shopper's paradise. Also visit Humayun's Tomb built in the mid 16th century by Haji Begum senior wife of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor - this is an example of early Mughal architecture. The elements in its design - a squat building, lighted by high arched entrances topped by a bulbous dome and surrounded by formal gardens. Humayun's wife is also buried in a black and yellow marble tomb.
Return back to the hotel after the tour, in time for dinner, before you board the overnight train from Delhi Railway Station.

| Day 03 |

The train arrives in the early hours of the morning at a small town in the base of the Himalayas. From here you will be transferred to a hotel to freshen up. After breakfast you will start the beautiful drive that will take you to the point where the river expedition begins.
The drive to the starting point of the expedition takes roughly seven hours and takes you through some remote Himalayan villages. We reach an elevation of roughly 9,000 feet during this drive, which is through beautiful Rhododendron fields and Himalayan Oak and Pine forests - there is even a chance of encountering some wildlife on the drive, like Mountain goat, Barking Deer, Pine Martins, Leopard, and an assortment of birds. On a clear day one can get a stunning view of the greater Himalayan Ranges, including the famous Nanda Devi Peak (25,645 feet), the highest peak of this region, and many other 20,000+ feet peaks. There are plenty of great photo opportunities on this drive.
Arrive at the camp by tea time where The Himalayan Outback staff greets you. Camp is a short hike away from the road.
Anglers are allotted tents, given a safety briefing and introduced to their respective fishing guides. Every angler has a guide. After resting from your drive you can take in a session of fishing which is then followed by barbeque and dinner around the bon fire.

| Day 04 |

Early this morning the guides escort the anglers to the pools. Breakfast is served on the respective fishing locations. Spend the day fishing the pools around camp.

| Day 05 |
: |
Hike to further out to remote locations with your guide. Meals and refreshments are served at your respective beats.
Get back to camp in the evening followed by barbeque and dinner around the bon fire.

| Day 06 | : |
Fish in the morning and then drive to the next location (3-hour drive), this is the starting point of your float trip.
Arrive at camp by late afternoon settle in and start fishing.

| Day 07 | : |
Begin the float trip. As we drift down river, we stop and fish along the way to cover as much water as possible.
Camp will be setup at a pristine location down river. On reaching our campsite you could well start fishing as soon as you reach - there are some splendid fishing opportunities in this area. Fish into the evening and night.

Depending on how productive the fishing is, we make the choice of either fishing the same location or then moving further down river. |

Fish different beats of the river. |
| Day 10 | : |
Fish remote locations. Along the float trip there are opportunities for the anglers to hike into the remote villages along the hillsides and get a look at the lifestyle of the villagers. The locals often walk down to the river upon seeing the camp and invite you to come to the village. Some of these villages are nomadic, it is very interesting to experience their self sustained lifestyle. Plenty of photo opportunities! |

End float trip today and drive to hotel to freshen up and board overnight train back to New Delhi. |
| Day 13 | : |
Arrive in New Delhi and get transferred to the hotel to freshen up. Drive to Agra - a five hour drive from Delhi. |
| Day 14 | : |
Visit the Taj Mahal early this morning. This "wonder of the world" is a tomb that the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan erected in memory of his wife Mumtaz, who died in childbirth. The white marble mausoleum, built in 1631, has become the epitome of a man's love for a woman.
Begin drive back to New Delhi. Arrive in hotel in New Delhi. Overnight in the hotel. |
