We are pleased to bring to you another beautiful campsite and several multi-activity adventures where there is a little something for every one. Our campsite is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River that flows along the ancient road to Badrinath.
The first sight of the river is an unforgettable experience, the grand Alaknanda River at Devprayag, from a height of 300 meters, a boulder strewn sparkling aquamarine ribbon of unimaginable magnificence, threading its way through the Himalayan foothills.
Our camp is established on a large stunning meadow, surrounded by beautiful villages, fields and forests. This safari style, semi-permanent camp, provides everything one could ask for in the outdoors, keeping the environment in high regard. The accommodation here is as luxurious as possible under canvas tents.
The theme of the camp is oriented towards outdoors, with plenty of white water rafting; kayaking, rappelling, Mahseer fishing, short hikes around the camp and trekking to higher elevations are also available. The activities are rigorously scheduled for the energetic lot. However, for someone looking for a relaxed holiday, the camp offers the perfect tranquil setting for just unwinding from the city's grind - you can participate in whichever activity you choose.
The rafting includes a twenty-river kilometer upriver stretch and a seventeen-river kilometer downriver stretch from The Himalayan Outback camp. There are plenty of rapids on these sections of the Alaknanda River, which is a renowned river for its exhilarating, yet very safe rapids.
The Himalayan Outback camp offers complete privacy by the banks of the Alaknanda River and is one of the only camps that allows you to drive your vehicle all the way into the campsite making it convenient for children and older folk. The camp could also be used to break your journey, as it falls on the way to some of the most popular destinations like Auli, Mana, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Rudraprayag, Joshimat and the Valley Of Flowers.
